I wanted a basic pair of denim shorts for vacation and these worked perfectly! I personally did not find they ran large, I found them to be fitted through the hips but the waistband is looser and they do stretch. I'm normally a size 4/27, 5'4", and could have gone with either the 4 or the 6 but sized up because I wanted a looser fit for the hot weather. I also thought the length was fine but as I noted I'm petite and don't have long legs so for someone taller they might run too short. Overall great purchase and the return/exchange process could not be easier!

I wear a 4 in the Gidget Midrise shorts. They fit perfectly. Thought I would try the Gidget High Rise. Had to return twice and ended up with a size 0. Many reviewers said these were too short. They are not short on me. I am 5’5” 135 slim-medium build. These shorts stretch on me. They are very cute.
